The township of Woolwich
The Township of Woolwich is in the northeast sector of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Southwestern Ontario.
It is bounded by the cities of Kitchener, and Cambridge, immediately to the north and east of the City of Waterloo.
Woolwich has a rural heritage and bountiful harvests, it offers ways to experience a taste of country while still preserve flourishing business communities and beautiful residential areas.
The township's three biggest settlements are Elmira, St. Jacobs and Breslau, where Region of Waterloo International Airport is based. There are other settlement areas, each offering its own unique character.
The quiet roads drift through a mixture of fields and farms, some appearances include 'slow moving vehicle' signs and the occasional Old Order Mennonite horse-drawn buggy.
The character of Woolwich Township is designing it as a truly special community.
