Hike for Hearing is a community event consisting of a 5k charity walk, live music, a barbeque, raffles, and information booths on disability services in the Windsor-Essex area. This event is taking place from 11:00am until 3:00pm at the Riverfront Festival Plaza on Sunday, October 23rd of 2016. The cost of the event is $30.00 per person or $100.00 per team of ten. Registration can be completed through the Eventbrite link below or through emailing Delta Zeta's Vice President of Philanthropy Kiera Royle at kieraroyledz@gmail.com.

All proceeds from this event goes to Delta Zeta's national philanthropic partner, The Starkey Hearing Foundation. In specific, the funds will benefit Starkey's hearing aid recycling and funding program in both the Global South, and North America. Overall, the goal of this event is to create more accessibility, inclusivity, and advocacy in the Windsor-Essex community.
