Despite the new occupants, the former Corby's Custom Clothier is still in the family.
Opened in 1953, Jack Korman's Corby's was an integral part of Riverdale, providing custom clothing to it's working class residents for 45 years.
Now occupied by son Mitch Korman, Corby's is now a law office but still retains the original sign as an homage to his father's legacy.
Following in his father's footsteps, Mitch is the current chair of the Riverdale BIA (Business Improvement Area) which has actively contributed to the gentrification of Riverdale over the last decade.
