The Duke Live at Queen St. E. and Leslie St.
Self proclaimed as
the rock n' roll destination on the city's east end, The Duke Live has been a Leslieville mainstay since 1870.
At that time it was known as the Morin House Tavern before becoming The Duke in 1912. Nearly 70 years later in 1983 the City of Toronto listed the building as historically significant.
Today the bar hosts a variety of tribute bands from Aerosmith to Shania Twain and karaoke throughout the week for fans of everything old school and nostalgic.
