Celebrates the history of the wedding gown and the mythic tradition of the white dress - did Queen Victoria invent the white gown? Starting with the museum’s oldest dress with Canadian provenance – an embroidered cotton wedding dress worn in Quebec City in 1816, the exhibition traces 200 years of wedding attire and includes examples of designer gowns by: Worth, Liberty of London, Simonetta, Dior, Lanvin, Bellville & Sassoon, and Claire Haddad.
