The Dream Catchers
On June 28, Wilfrid Laurier University and the City of Waterloo will host a free community performance of The Dream Catchers, a nationally acclaimed musical produced by The Confederation Centre of the Arts of Prince Edward Island.
The performance at Wilfrid Laurier University is inspired by the incredible ideas of Canadian youth for their futures, and for the future of the country. The Dream Catchers theatrical production is hip hop, spoken word and folk performance blended with contemporary and Indigenous dance. It features 26 young professional performers, interpreting through music and dance the ambitions, hopes and dreams of Canada's next generation through a lens of reconciliation, inclusion and the environment.
