
Vaughan Latin Festival 2016
Vaughan Community had a great day on Saturday, July 16 at the Vaughan Latin Festival with the best of the Latin culture and entertainment.
Over 4,000 people enjoyed a spectacular show with music, Mariachi, Folklore, guest appearance Lucha Libre, waterpark for children, Latin food and more. At the opening ceremony we had the honor of the following dignitaries: Consul of Ecuador, Hon Rolando Vera, Minister Lorne Coe, MPP Whitby Oshawa, Deputy Chief Thomas Carrique, Councillor Marilyn Iafrate, Councillor Sandra Racco, Producer/Director/ Filmmaker Nova Vision TV & Latin Caribbean TV Hugh Avendano, Canadian Hispanic Congress Executive Fulvio Martinez, Maple Lions Club Board Member Maria Faraone.
An important segment of the Vaughan Latin Festival was the Peace Parade to advocate peace and stand against violence and discrimination in the world.
