Tree For Me is a tree-matching program run by the Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation to aid in the goal of increasing Toronto’s tree canopy to 40% by 2050. Tree For Me matches residents of Toronto with a free, native tree.

Through our online system, residents are asked a short series of questions and are matched with a tree that is optimal for their chosen planting site. Tree pick ups happen at Tree For Me events in spring and fall, during tree planting seasons. At the event, recipients take part in a tree planting and care workshop to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge to plant and care for their tree properly.

Upcoming Tree For Me events:
October 22, 10am-1pm: Masaryk-Cowan Park, Parkdale
October 27th, 5pm-7pm: Riverdale Park East, Riverdale
October 29th, 10am-5pm: Annette Street Library, Junction
