Donate Your Bras And Free The Girls!
On Saturday, February 4th, 2017 The Beatitudes Movement collected new and gently used bras to support Free The Girls, an organization that helps provide jobs to women that have been rescued from sex trafficking. The bras are sent to Mozambique, Uganda, and El Salvador. The rescued women are then able to sell the bras, start their own entrepreneurial business, reintegrate back into society and become self sufficient. The event took place at Jal Gua Cafe and included amazing performances by Shanty Sweets, Danielle Pollari, and Maccie, as well as special guest speakers Kimba Allen Langas (co-founder of Free The Girls via Skype) and Sahar Saidi (founder of LUS Brands). Together we collected 246 bras! The Beatitudes Movement would like to thank everyone for supporting by coming out, donating your bras, and giving hope to women that have been rescued from sex trafficking! You are a blessing!

The Beatitudes Movement is an initiative where humans inhale blessings in and then exhale blessings out, to spread love in the world. We aim to support and bless specific groups of people and communities through events, outreach, activities, art, and music.
The word 'beatitudes' means 'blessing' or 'happiness'. The Beatitudes Movement is founded by Cari Flammia.
