It is commonly considered to be located on the east by Don River Valley corridor, on the west by Millwood Road, on the north by Wicksteed Avenue and Research Road, and on the northwest by a railway track between Millwood and Wicksteed.
Thorncliffe Park has both an industrial and a residential section. The residential district is in the south. Some apartment and townhouses have recently been added on Overlea Boulevard.
The East York Town Center is situated right in the middle of the Thorncliffe Park neighborhood. This large shopping center has many stores in addition to a large number of professional and medical offices. The Overlea Mews, is a small strip plaza that includes local convenience-type stores.
Leaside Park located at the south end of the area features a large sports field, two baseball diamonds, an outdoor heated pool, and six tennis courts. Nature lovers and fitness enthusiasts can get in the spectacular Don Valley trail system via Ernest Thompson Seton Park. The E.T.
