Small Town Charm in the City
The Junction is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario. The area adjoining Runnymede to the West, the Junction railway tracks to the North, roughly Keele St to the East and Annette to the South.
Near the crossing of four railway lines in the area familiar as the West Toronto Diamond the Junction is far enough away from downtown but close enough that it remains popular with artists, public and specialists.
West Toronto Junction has some of the leading architecture in Toronto. The winding tree-lined streets north of Annette Street feature rich red brick Victorian houses on generous size lots that boast fancy features such as roof top turrets, whimsical front porches and glamorous archways.
The neighbourhood has a firm sense of pride and history, and a delightful main street shopping district on Dundas Street West.
The area around Dundas Street and St.John’s Road is known as Little Malta.
Four local parks are located within the neighbourhood which is less than one mile from High Park .
It is a slightly off the beat and groove but well quality discovering.
