Woofstock 2015 in Woodbine Park
Woofstock A Festival for Dogs - September 26 & 27, 2015
Woodbine Park in the Beaches was the new home for Woofstock 2015. Launched 12 years ago in the Distillery Historic District. Woofstock quickly outgrew the bustling St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood.
With over 200,000 attendees and their faithful furry BFFs flocking to Woofstock in 2013, we needed a bigger home and will be our second year at Woodbine Park.
Three times larger than our space on Front Street, Woodbine Park in Toronto’s Beaches is centrally located in one of the City’s most dog friendly neighbourhoods.
Woofstock is a large outdoor festival designed for dogs and the people who love them. The event had entertainment, contests and a consumer showcase. Vendors offered up the latest in canine fashions, furnishings, products and food, and contests unleash the best mutts in every size, breed and pedigree.
The event featured The Purina Pro Plan Dog Stars, where specially trained dogs complete an obstacle course that has hoops, tunnels, hurdles and more. There was also a doggie fashion show, costume contest and a stupid trick contest.
With perfect fall weather for the 2015 event, the crowds were massive and expect 2016 to be even bigger and better.
