The Scugog region

Scugog is a community in the Durham region of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) within Southern Ontario and it makes up the eastern border of the GTA. It is one of the largest geographic municipalities of the Durham region however, it is a mostly rural area with a very small population. Many visitors come to Scugog each year to lie along the beautiful shores of Lake Scugog, to visit some of Scugog's many quaint rural villages and to visit some of Scugog's famous nurseries, vineyards and farms.
