Moeen Centre for Physically Disabled and Developmentally Challenged (post 21 years) Young Adults is a non-profit charitable organization. We are driven to promote the independence of individuals with disabilities to facilitate access to available community facilities and services and to raise community awareness.

The Purpose of our centre is,

1) To promote the independence of physically & developmentally challenged young adults in Toronto.

2) To facilitate access to available community facilities and services.

3) To raise community awareness and sensitivity to the needs of the physically and developmentally challenged and their rights to equal opportunities.

Moeen loved to rhythmically jingle any set of keys he got his hands on. He was a physically and developmentally challenged young adult who lost his life in a tragic house fire in December 1995. The Moeen Centre has been established in honour of his memory.

Our programs provide Literacy skills; language, reading, writing, speaking skills, Math skills; addition, subtraction, money handling, Arts and Crafts, Computer skills, Physical Fitness; exercise, community outings, field trips, Snoezelen Therapy and much more.

New Clients & Volunteers Are Always Welcome!

We have few spaces available at the Centre. We will highly appreciate if you recommend the clients, who are looking for the services we provided to the special needs Young Adults, we would be happy to have them here.

Our DAY PROGRAM is open Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
The monthly fee is $500.
Assistance Gaining Passport Funding available.
