Experience daily life in pre-modern Japan with ROM Educator George Hewson. From fierce warriors to classical fine arts, explore the depths of Japanese culture in the ROM's galleries. Your day will include a sword-drawing demonstration and the opportunity to handle authentic objects.

Instructor: George Hewson

George Hewson is a teacher in the Royal Ontario Museum's Learning Department. He has always liked museums and has vivid memories of coming to the ROM on a school visit as a child. George teaches about China, Japan, Egypt, Greece, Rome and Canada to adolescents and adults. He enjoys sharing the scholarship of the ROM's curators in a way the public finds informative and enjoyable.

Registration includes lunch.
