JFJ Hope Centre: 11th Annual Golf Tournament
In the early hours of September 10th 2016, JFJ Hope Centre's 11th Annual Golf Tournament started with a hot breakfast in the dining room at Richmond Hill Golf Club. Rain has become somewhat of an unfortunate tradition at our Annual Tournament - this is how we know we have some of the most committed supporters out there. Despite the drizzle, the golfers made their way out to the course and enjoyed a full round of best ball style golf. Thank you to the golfers, volunteers, and staff for being good sports and keeping the Tournament full of fun and laughter (rain or shine) each year.
Throughout the course the longest drive, hole-in-one, closest to the pin and putting competitions kept the golfers entertained. The competitions and the silent auction during lunch raise funds that keep the programs and services at JFJ Hope Centre free for families in need. The auction had the largest selection to date with prizes including: plane tickets, a train voucher, harbor front cruises, a garage door and much more. With another Golf Tournament behind us, 2016 is quickly coming to an end. Christmas time comes with many needs for the families who rely on our services.
