Pandemic Processional: A Participatory Public Art Happening
We invite you to call on your collective imaginations and creative sparks, and gather at a distance with us, as we exorcise our pandemic angst in a fun, active and safe way. We will be leading a costumed march (or walk, or dance) through the spacious roadways of the Historic Village. We invite you to come dressed as a plague doctor or a witch – and be a part of this unusual event – as we parade to the haunting backdrop of 200 year old buildings, and some eerie music. Bring your capes, masks, hats and broomsticks – homemade or store bought. It’s about to get spooky! Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance.
Want to make your own plague doctor mask? Hand-sewn faux leather plague doctor mask kits are available on our Online Museum Shop at https://lang-pioneer-village-museum.myshopify.com/collections/workshops-experiences.
Cost: $10 per person
