The city of Oshawa

Oshawa is a community in the Durham region of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) within Southern Ontario. Oshawa is located on the shores of Lake Ontario, bordered to the west by Whitby and to the east by Clarington. The City of Oshawa is the largest urban municipality in the Durham Region. It is a bustling community with a booming economy and beautiful streetscapes. Over the past few decades, many new residents have flocked to Oshawa for its beautiful homes, its fine hospitals, its excellent schools, its lovely open-air spaces and its proximity to the City of Toronto. The largest employer in Oshawa is General Motors of Canada. Many Hollywood movies have also been filmed in Oshawa including X-Men, Studio 54 and Chicago.
