"Shark Assault" presentation at Bracebridge Probus Club
Muskoka author Peter Jennings was a guest of the Bracebridge Probus Club on August 3rd. He talked to a packed assembly about writing "Shark Assault: An Amazing Story of Survival". This included showing a brief video clip of Nicole Moore, the lady who barely lived through two huge shark attacks, and a chapter reading. Numerous questions were posed during the Q&A segment and Peter was happy to autograph copies of the book which were purchased by members.
"Shark Assault" is enjoying great success, the publisher having ordered a second printing within just one month of the book's debut. Reader's Digest is running a 4,000 word excerpt in 15 languages around the world this summer and television’s longest serving news anchor Lloyd Robertson says: "Riveting and inspirational… a compelling real life story about the magnificent power of optimism."
Peter is in demand as a speaker, booked into 2017 (http://www.sharkassault.com/events.html). Next up is the Kempenfelt Rotary Club in Barrie on August 10.
