
Scarborough
Scarborough is a district of Toronto. It is the eastern most district of the City of Toronto. It lies along the shores of Lake Ontario and it is bordered to the west by the East End, East York and North York. Scarborough is made up of many different neighbourhoods including Malvern, Agincourt, Port Union, Scarborough Village and Birch Cliff.
Scarborough has its own flare. It has much of a suburban feel however, because it is also home to many new Canadian immigrants, it is also a very diverse and multicultural. It is a district full of lovely neighbourhoods, many delicious restaurants and colourful shops.
Scarborough is also famous for both its man-made and natural landmarks. Scarborough is home of the Scarborough Town Centre (Canada’s 10th largest shopping mall) as well as the Toronto Zoo. The Rouge River also runs through Scarborough and visitors flock to this area year round to visit both the Rouge Park and the beautiful Scarborough Bluffs.
