The Kingston Baroque Consort (KBC), presents “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme:
Comedy from Lully’s 17th Century France” on Friday 7 October at 7:30pm
at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts. Tickets cost $25
(adults) and $10 (students). Concerts are free for under 17.
Subscriptions for the entire KBC four-concert series are available for
$80 (adults) and $30 (students). This concert is made possible with

Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme tells the story of middle class Mr. Jourdain
who dreams of becoming a gentleman, with comedic results. This concert
production features the full KBC ensemble, with special guests Edgar
Tumak and Deborah Donaldson (Baroque dancers), Craig Walker (narration),
and an ASL interpreter.
