North End
The North End is a district of the City of Toronto in Ontario. It is north of downtown and it is made up of both Midtown and Uptown Toronto. It is an area in Toronto that roughly stretches from the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks just south of St. Clair Avenue all the way up to north of Lawrence Avenue. It runs roughly from Bayview Avenue in the east to Dufferin Avenue in the West.
The North End is made up of many distinct neighbourhoods including those of Bedford Park, Casa Loma, Lawrence Park, Rosedale, Summerhill, Deer Park and Forest Hill. Many of the neighbourhoods of the North End are considered to be some of the most upscale areas of Toronto. The southern part especially is considered to be one of the most affluent areas of the City and it is home to many of the city’s most exclusive residences.
