Friday night performers - Fifties in Colour

The weekend of July 22-24 the Rotary Club of Lincoln hosted its 4th annual Wing Ding Wingfest. The air was sweeter than usual at Charles Daley Park where the aroma of chicken wings were cooking all weekend long by some of Niagara's finest as they competed for the prestigious title of 2016 Fan Favourite. Cold drinks were flowing from Great Lakes Brewery and Fielding Estates Winery served by hard working Rotarians. Area musicians took the stage of the bandshell all weekend long entertaining the crowds, with everything from 50's Rock & Roll to Country.

The Saturday night dinner rush

After three sunny summer days of music, wings, wine & beer The Manhattan Bar & Grill (405 Vine St. St. Catharines) won in a close race, beating out reigning champions Romby's Tavern & Smokehouse (488 Lake St. St. Catharines). Neighbourhood Pizza came in a close third place.
