Newmarket Folk Society presents Canadian Song Night
Newmarket Folk Society opens our 10th season with an evening of music made famous by Canadian singer/songwriters. The concert will feature a number of your favourite local performers and special guest performers presenting some of their and your favourite Canadian Songs. Songs by Neil Young, Ian and Sylvia, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot and many others will be yours to enjoy for the evening. Many of the songs you will be completely familiar with and probably there will be some new ones that you’ll be glad that you have learned about! There will be many opportunities to sing along or just relax and enjoy an evening of Canadian classics. Performers will include Mary Bennet, Magoo, Teal and Joyce, David Newland, Patty McLaughlin and Kevin Kelly.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by phone at 905-836-9073 (Carol or Dave) or from Books,Café and Things at 208 Main St. South in Newmarket.
This venue is a large licenced facility which will hold 200+ in a cabaret seating arrangement.
There is limited parking available at the legion but parking will be available just across the road at Prince Charles Public School.
Refreshments are provided before the show and during the intermission by The Maid's Cottage.
With doors opening at 7:15pm, come early and enjoy a coffee and butter tart.
