For over thirty years, Winn has been painting and making sculptures inspired by Vincent, Tom Thomson, and the Dadaists. Winn moved to abstraction from landscape after being consumed by physics related concepts that he has been researching. Knowing that his painting represents the mysterious nature of our cosmos, he realized that the work was not truly abstract. Structural Impressionism describes the work as these paintings and sculptures are representations of our reality and its related particles that remain hypothetical.
Winn's intrigue of cosmology and quantum theory started at a young age. Reading about time and space in his father's Isaac Asimov anthologies, an impression was also made by the cover art. Fractal time, quantumchromodynamics, spiritualism, and mysticism have a strong presense in Winn's latest exhibition. Civilizations such as Egypt and Easter Island where art is everywhere has been deeply ingrained in these paintings.

This exhibition will present large paintings including two seven by eleven foot Structural Impressionist paintings that will be an unforgettable experience. Please join us on Friday, October 21st for refreshments, opening remarks, and a mind expanding evening.
