Star Wars under the Stars
You don't need to visit Walt Disney World to experience magic. Nearly 1000 Londoners experienced Magic for themselves August 10 in Victoria Park as they watched Star Wars The Force Awakens!
In this annual summer event, Movie Nights in the Park welcomed Londoners to Victoria Park for a night of fun and games before the movie began. The Maker Bus brought out materials for kids to make their own mini lightsabres which they were waving and fighting with through the whole movie. R2D2 came out to meet the crowd and take pictures with the family. Lightsabre battles were taking place right beside the screen. An acoustic guitarist played us through the premovie festivities.
At 9:00, with the lawn chairs assembled, Star Wars The Force Awakens played on the big screen in the Kiwanis Memorial Bandshell.
The next movie (Toy Story 3) will be played August 23 at 9:00pm. Come join us for another magical night in Victoria Park and watch Buzz Lightyear go to infinity and beyond in Toy Story 3
