A Neighbourhood for artists

Liberty Village is a small neighbourhood in the west end of Toronto that is located just east of Parkdale. It is bordered by King Street West to the north, by Strachan Avenue and the CP Railway tracks to the east, by the Gradiner Expressway to the south and by Dufferin Street to the West. Liberty Village is conveniently located only twenty minutes away by streetcar from downtown Toronto’s financial core and only a fifteen-minute walk to the Lakeshore.

Liberty Village is a planned community that has become a hip neighbourhood in which to live for young professionals and artists. It is a neighbourhood that was revitalized when a series of old factories were remodeled into beautiful lofts and condos as well as retail and office spaces. Many media related businesses, design studios and technology companies have offices here. There are also many restaurants, gyms, cafes, shops, galleries and a charming park.
