St. Peter's Anglican Church in Churchill held its first annual FALL FAIR on Saturday, September 24th. As the saying goes, "Build it, and they will come!" and come they did. With our big Dragon Bouncy Castle on the front lawn, people began arriving before 9 a.m. and didn't stop until nearly 4 p.m. Kids loved the castle, the carnival games, face painting, pumpkin carving, candy floss and Water Splash game. Apparently soaking the minister is great fun! Parents enjoyed browsing the various sale tables, the bake table being the biggest hit as always! The pie contest was won by Myrlene Boken and the chili contest was won by Mike Hogg and Judy Martin. Hot dogs and hamburgers were on the grill from morning until afternoon. Delicious!! We will be doing the fair as an annual event, so thanks for helping to make this first fair such a wonderful success. SEE YOU AT THE FAIR IN 2017.
