SEASON OPENER AT GUELPH POSTPONED
Saturday’s season opening game for the Hamilton Cardinals at Guelph has been postponed due to poor field conditions.
Despite the wet weather moving out of the area the last couple of days, the amount of rain that fell made it impossible to get the field at David E. Hastings Stadium in a safe playable condition. As of this time, the game has not been rescheduled but is expected to be played sometime in June.
Hamilton will now open the 99th Intercounty Baseball League season on Friday May 19th when they travel to London to face the Majors at Labatt Park starting at 7:35 PM.
