
CABLE 14 TO BROADCAST FIVE CARDINALS GAMES
Hamilton Cardinals and Cable 14 announced today that four Friday night home games during the 2017 regular season will be taped and broadcast on tape delay as well as a road game. This will mark the fifth season that Cable 14 has joined the Cardinals for Intercounty Baseball League action from Bernie Arbour Stadium.
Team president J.P. Molinaro, said that “Our entire organization is looking forward to the Cable 14 broadcasts as we show off some local talent and remind baseball fans of Hamilton that the top amateur players from Ontario play in the Intercounty Baseball League.”
Gail Granlund, Production and Programming Supervisor, commented on behalf of the TV stations that “Cable 14 is excited to be the broadcast partner for the Hamilton Cardinals IBL 2017 season. Our coverage includes select Friday home games, commencing on Friday, May 26th when the Cardinals take on the Toronto Maple Leafs at Bernie Arbour Stadium. All games will be available in HD as well as on Cable14Now.com to all Cogeco, Rogers and Source cable subscribers across Ontario.”
In addition to the May 26th game, Cable 14 will also broadcast the following home games;
Friday June 23rd vs Kitchener Panthers
Friday July 7th vs Kitchener Panthers
Friday July 28th vs Brantford Red Sox
The lone road game that is scheduled to be broadcast will be on Thursday May 25th when the Cardinals head across the bridge to face the Burlington Herd (formerly Bandits) starting at 7:15 pm. Cable 14 will pick up the feed from their friends at Cogeco Burlington.
Molinaro added that “More games could be added to the broadcast schedule during the season.”
Fans that miss a game you will now be able to check out the games, and other Cable 14 shows, on their new online platform called Cable14NOW. All games will be posted on Cable14NOW (www.cable14now.com) within 48 hours for your viewing pleasure.

Hamilton will open the 99th Intercounty Baseball League season on Saturday May 13th when they travel to Guelph to face the Royals at David Hastings Stadium starting at 2:00 PM.
