Rampin' It Up! Heritage Hall Accessibility Fundraiser
The Guelph Black Heritage Society is fundraising to build a ramp to enable wheelchair access to Heritage Hall.
Heritage Hall, located at 83 Essex Street, was formerly known as the British Methodist Episcopal Church, a significant destination on the 19th century “Underground Railroad” slave escape route. Since 2011, the Guelph Black Heritage Society has striven to create a cultural, historical and social community centre at Heritage Hall. Community rentals help support the hall. Greater access will ramp up that support and enhance the versatility of Heritage Hall.
The kick off fundraising event will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at the eBar, 41 Quebec Street. This is a licensed event featuring live music by “The Things” followed by DJ Charless Janzen. This is a licensed event with doors opening at 9:00 p.m. Show starts at 10:00 p.m.
Tickets in advance are $10 and $15 at the door.
Tickets are available at the door or at www.guelph-black-heritage-society.ticketleap.com/heritage-hall-fundraiser
