TPS 32 Division 1st Car Seat Clinic Was a Success
On Thursday, August 18, 2016 officers from Toronto Police Service, 32 Division – Community Response Unit hosted a Child Seat Installation Clinic at the rear of the Canadian Tire Store at Centerpoint Mall located at 6310 Yonge Street (at Steeles Avenue), Toronto.
The event was very well accepted by the car operators, where officers assisted and taught many eager parents how to lawfully install child car seats ranging from infant only to three-in-one car seats to booster seats.
The management team of the Centerpoint Mall, the franchise owner of the Canadian Tire Store, and our Toronto Police Service – Auxiliary Officers all contributed towards making this valuable car safety initiative a success.
With the accomplishments of the first event, 32 Division CRU officers are motivated and looking forward to the upcoming 2nd Car Seat Installation Clinic on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the same time and location.
