The 9 x 20 indoor warm water pool will offer swimming to dogs for fitness, fun, therapy, maintenance or rehab, throughout the year. Swimming in warm water helps increase the overall physical, mental and emotional condition of a dog. Whether a dog suffers from any bodily aches or pains, is recuperating from surgery, is overweight or has mobility issues, is a bored family pet, is an agility dog, a herder, tracker, DockDog, hunting dog, a hyper puppy, special assistance dog, or is a senior member of a family; swimming improves their health and vigor, adding quality years to their lives.

The facility was inaugurated by Vimy, a Portuguese Water Dog training to be a swimming champ under the fitness classification and by Cody, a poodle cross who is paralysed on the lower half of his body under the therapeutic classification. Many dogs from the GTA and surrounding created a Splash at the Bash in Brampton. For more information, go to http://bituspetservices.webs.com/k9-aquafitness-hydrotherapy
