A Prestigious Neighbourhood
Forest Hill is one of Toronto’s most affluent areas and it is located in the north end of Toronto. It runs roughly from Eglinton Avenue West in the north to St. Clair Avenue West in the south and from Bathurst Street in the west to Avenue Road in the east.
Forest Hill is perhaps most famous for its luxurious mansions and its beautifully landscaped properties. It is also where three of Toronto’s most prestigious and highly regarded high schools are located (Upper Canada College, Bishop Strachan School and St. Michael’s College School). According to Statistics Canada, the average household income in Forest Hill is over $100,000 per year.
Forest Hill is also known for its delicious restaurants, bakeries and specialty food stores. It became a Business Improvement Area (BIA) in 1979 and many Torontonians come here yearly to shop in this neighbourhood’s lovely fashion boutiques and fine art stores as well as to get spa treatments, haircuts and so much more.
