Join Sarah Polley for a conversation about her award-winning memoir. This collection of essays, tells the story of Polley herself – from child to mother, from actor to director and all the trials and tribulations in between. Now as a writer, she looks back at her life with a proficient perception that only someone who admits to the fallibility of memory can achieve.

By the Lake Book Club offers six Tuesday-night events, between February and December featuring leading Canadian authors in conversation with Humber College graduates and alumni. Each in-person event includes a reading, discussion, audience Q&A and book-signing. Virtual events are subtitled live and provide online viewing and audio.
