An Eclectic Neighbourhood
Emery Village is a lovely community in North York in northwest Toronto. It is bordered to the west by the beautiful Humber River and to the east by the Canadian Pacific Railway line. It runs from Steeles Avenue all the way down to Sheppard Avenue.
Emery is a culturally rich area of Toronto. People of many different ethnicities live here and as such, there are an eclectic array of shops and restaurants here that sell goods and showcase cuisine from all over the world. There are also many strip malls littered throughout this growing community. While its western reaches are more residential in nature, the northern section of Emery centers around the Milvan Drive commercial and industrial corridor. This northern section of Emery is home to many auto repair shops, more shopping malls as well as many wholesalers and importers.
