Veg Heads TO and MixMatch Marketing Inc. really know how to throw a party! Bellies were stuffed full of savory vegan schnitzel & sausage, prepared and served up by Doug McNish himself, polka kings and queens lined the dance floor excitedly eager to do the chicken dance.

The enticing smell of freshly baked soft pretzels from Dolled Up Desserts filled the air - Cheers, chants and Prost! echoed the room while Beer from Amsterdam Brewing Co. was being drunk with reckless abandon. Event Circle snapped up memorable moments with their vegan themed photo booth while patrons busily filled out ballots for exuberant raffle prizes to be won.

You guessed it - Canada's first ever Vegan Oktoberfest took place this past Saturday night, October 22nd at Nest in Toronto! A sold out event in support of a wonderful cause, the Toronto Vegetarian Food Bank.

Everyone was welcome! Vegans and non-vegans came together in celebration of beautiful, delicious plant based nutrition and products, including some of the city's top names:

The event was an amazing success and the best part is that Veg Heads TO will be putting on a series of vegan events in the near future with plans to make Vegan Oktoberfest an annual occurrence! 2017 is already in the works!
