STUDY AND GO ABROAD FAIR – FALL 2016
The Study and Go Abroad Fair fall has just completed a successful fall fair circuit, which went coast to coast, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto and Halifax. Over 160 universities, some of them ranked in the top-100 worldwide, attended the fairs, showcasing a whole range of programs including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, certificates and diploma programs. High school and universities students, parents, educators and young professionals looking to retrain, flocked to the fairs to learn more about admission requirements, scholarships available and to open their minds to global opportunities.
The Travel section of the expo included student travel organizations promoting work abroad, internships, language travel and volunteer programs. More and more students in Canada are considering taking a gap year either before, after or during university, or looking for experiential travel and service learning programs.
For students who were unable to attend the fall fairs, there will be another chance to attend in the Spring. The Spring 2017 Study and Go Abroad Fair circuit will include Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. New for 2017, we are introducing a Graduate School Fair on campus at UBC on March 1st.
