Myseum Connects stirs up lively discussion about Canada's 150th anniversary
On Thursday, August 4, over 100 members of the city’s arts, culture and heritage sector braved the heat on the Campbell House Museum front lawn for Myseum of Toronto’s most recent Myseum Connects networking event, held in partnership with Lord Cultural Resources.
Participants were treated to delicious food, locally-brewed beer and lively discussion on Canada’s upcoming 150th anniversary. How can we thoughtfully integrate Canada’s complex history into festivities in 2017? What are the important themes to discuss? These are some of the enlightening questions raised as everyone mingled and shared ideas for projects and possible collaborations.
