Luminato's Neighbourhood Food Festival
This past weekend, June 18-19, Luminato hosted the Neighbourhood Food Festival outside of Union station, taking over Front street between Bay and York. The weather was spectacular, the people were great, and the food was amazing.
Eighteen different restaurants from across the GTA were in attendance, serving up some of their most popular dishes. Some highlights included; Khao San Road's crispy southern style fried chicken with northeastern Thai flavours, Providore Catering's butter chicken nancho's, and Tapioca Toronto's gluten free crepes filled with cheese and Ontario grown mushrooms and bell peppers.
The festival was in celebration of Luminato Festival's 10th anniversary and a nod to their track record in hosting innovative food events celebrating the cultural richness of the Toronto food scene.
