Dovercourt Park is a neighbourhood well located close to the centre of the city of Toronto.
It is positioned north of Bloor Street between Christie Street to the east, the CPR railway lines to the north, Dufferin Street to the west.
Mostof the houses are two and three storeys. Many have open front verandas and gable garrets that face out onto the street.
The main recreational establishment in this neighbourhood is Dovercourt Park. The park features a children's playground, a wading pool, two tennis courts, baseball diamond, and natural ice rinks in the winter.
Dovercourt Park is also the inland of the Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club, for children ages seven through seventeen. This club is open year round and consist of a small gymnasium, a pool, a games room, an arts and crafts room, and two computer rooms.
The Bloorcourt Village shopping district on Bloor Street West, boosts from Montrose Avenue over to Dufferin Street. Dufferin Mall is situated across the street from the Dufferin Grove park, just south of Bloor Street.
