Nordic Pole Walking (NPW) is a highly effective low-impact aerobic activity that combines the ease of walking and the benefits of an upper body strength training workout using lightweight walking poles. The activity is very easy to learn and can be done in groups making it perfect for social recreation and fitness. It emphasizes balance, stability and coordination.
