Sometimes You have to think outside the box, You need to think outside the Open House
There are a few reasons why you should hold an open house:
A Lot of Homes are bought by Family and Friends who already live in the neighbourhood.

This makes a lot of sense as it allows those people to live close to each other and their kids can play together.
By holding an exclusive open house for people living in the area, they can come to the open house and pass on the information to family and friends who might be looking for a new home.

The second reason to hold an open house is that you are not just selling a house but you are selling yourself. The neighbourhood open house is one of the least expensive ways to sell yourself to a group of potential clients. This is a great way to stand out from the competition. These can be held in the evenings and throughout the week. Send out flyers, just listed and distribute in the surrounding area of the house just listed. You'd be amazed how easy it is to receive positive feed back and get lots of calls from people who want to list their homes.
