
Che's Place First Annual Gala Delights Attendees!
Sponsored by the Optimist Club of Bolton, Che’s Place First Annual Gala took place Saturday, March 18th at Caesar’s Centre in Bolton. It proved to be a night of exceptional dining and dancing, featured a silent auction, prizes galore, and keynote speaker - award winning journalist in both the music and boxing field, Spider Jones.
Mr. Jones shared his personal insight on assisting today’s youth (through love and direction) in a very special dinner address to the friends and supporters of Che’s Place. …Also on hand, the Deputy Mayor of Toronto – Vincent Crisanti who presented a plaque recognizing Che’s Place for its service to youth.
…Che’s Place is Bolton’s newly opened Youth Centre and honours the spirit, memory, and life of Francesco Molinaro. Located at 30 Martha Street (lower level), it operates under the auspices of the Optimist Club of Bolton and targets youth aged 13 -18; however is open to all offering a safe, friendly, positive environment to meet, gather, and more.
