Carey Domb, guitar, and Daniel Domb, cello, gave a deeply expressive, virtuoso performance at CrossCurrents Caledon last Friday night.
Daniel debuted at Carnegie Hall under Leonard Bernstein when he was only 15. He has played the great stages of the world since then, as well as in the Toronto Symphony.
They chose light classical and international folk pieces for their repertoire. Daniel phrased the pieces to bring out their emotionality and the richness of his instrument.
Carey's arrangements integrated her very fine guitar work.
The audience responded very enthusiastically to this extraordinary event.
This was the 35th performance hosted by the volunteers of CrossCurrents Caledon at Bolton United Church, every second Friday evening.
