A Christmas Event at Ireland House Museum

Fun was had by all who attended the Christmas Event at Ireland House Museum on Sunday, November 20th. Despite the cold weather, many still came out to enjoy the event.

The Christmas spirit was in the air as visitors explored the historic house specially dressed for Christmas. There were baking demonstrations on the hearth and soup was served off the historic woodstove.

Visits with Santa

Visitors kept warm by a crackling fire as children roasted marshmallows. The experience also included horse drawn wagon rides, a petting zoo, and visits with Santa and Father Christmas. Families also took a picture and captured memories from the year into a keepsake ornament that will hang on their tree year after year.
