The Rich and Famous
Rosedale is one of Toronto’s most affluent neighbourhoods and it is located in the north end of Toronto. Rosedale is bounded by Yonge Street in the west, Bloor Street in the south, Bayview Avenue to the east and the CPR Railway tracks to the north.
Rosedale is one of Toronto’s oldest suburbs and one of its wealthiest neighbourhoods. Rosedale is a very desirable neighbourhood in which to live and many of Toronto’s richest and most prominent families have grown up there. Rosedale is also a very beautiful community full of lush trees, ravines, parkland and small, winding streets. There are also many upscale boutiques, restaurants and cafes throughout this area.
Rosedale is home to Branksome Hall, one of Toronto’s most prestigious all-girl schools. There is also a spring festival in Rosedale every year called the Mayfair. This is a festival that takes place in Rosedale Park and it is a family event full of games, rides and activities.
