The City of Guelph

Guelph is a city in southwestern Ontario. Situated in the heart of Wellington County, but it is politically independent of it.
Many downtown streets are stuffed with Victorian era buildings, which are over a century old.

Pictures, films and other antique materials related to the historic development of the City of Guelph may be found at Guelph Civic Museum. Guelph has three National Historic Sites of Canada: the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, McCrae House and Old City Hall.

Most of the natural allures of Guelph are located beside the two rivers which pass inside the city; some of them are Guelph Lake, Riverside Park, Royal City Park and Wellington Street nature sites and Exhibition Park, which is the oldest park in Guelph.

Guelph offers visitors and residents restaurants and accommodations, entertaining and educational activities, and a wide variety of shopping.
