
Lake of Bays
Lake of Bays is a township in the District Municipality of Muskoka, Ontario. The Township of Lake of Bays is situated in the northeast corner of Ontario's "Cottage Country".
It is titled after the Lake of Bays - the 4th largest lake in Muskoka with nearly 170 km of shoreline. The Lake of Bays presents a natural landscape of forests, rocks, lakes and wetlands. It is an valuable cottaging, recreation and tourism destination in Ontario.
The Township encompasses four exclusive and inviting communities of Baysville, Dorset, Dwight and Hillside. The villages have a merger of general stores, coffee spots, restaurants and shops.
The Township is a year-round vacation utopia. It is situated close to 3 Provincial Parks (Arrowhead, Ragged Falls and, Algonquin Park, the best known Park in Ontario).
