The Portugal Village is located in the middle of Lansdowne Ave and Bathurst St along Dundas St West. It spreads south towards the CPR/CNR Railway tracks. A large part of this whole area sits in the location of the 'Old Toronto'. The whole of Little Portugal is situated directly above Queen St West.
Little Portugal is mostly a residential area. The largest ethnic group are Portuguese and numbers of Portuguese storefronts are situated along College and Dundas Streets, giving the area its name.
The neighbourhood takes its name from Trinity Bellwoods Park, built around the old Garrison Creek ravine.
